He Is Greater

With all the fear and chaos that is flooding the headlines right now, it is very easy to forget that God is still in control. Sometimes we all need the reminder that God IS greater than any problem we could ever encounter in this world. No matter what we face, whether it is illness, fear, darkness, pain, tragedy, or disaster, He is more powerful than any of it! He is with us in the midst of it all and He is holding us in His hands. He is our protector, our healer, our comforter, and our peace.

His word is FULL of reminders not to fear!

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27

So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33

God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
Psalm 46:1-3

But now, this is what the LORD says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
